In This Economy? Big boi BlackRock filed with the SEC for a spot Bitcoin ETF this week, and crypto Twitter rejoiced. ETF stands for Exchange Traded Fund, which lets investors get exposure to Bitcoin as an asset, without having to deal with buying it or holding it themselves. It’s important to note that every other Bitcoin ETF application has been denied by the SEC, citing concerns of potential market manipulation for which BlackRock has a solve. It’s also important to note that BlackRock is like the Serena Williams of asset managers - they rarely lose. Your move, Gary! 

LUV 2 C IT. “The Goose,” a generative art NFT seized in the bankruptcy proceedings of the 3AC broskis, was sold at auction with a hammer price of $5.4M - almost 3X what was estimated. Pretty much everyone agrees that this is a hugely positive and validating step for the generative art movement except for this guy.

Scammer Sues. An onchain sleuth and public goods provider named ZachXBT raised close to $1M this weekend in donations from the crypto community, after disclosing that he was being sued for defamation by notorious scammer Machi Big Brother.
