However this endeavor is not without its issues, including fake hamsters, loser hamsters, and recycled racing footage.

Ethereum scaling work is so hot right now, from Mantle to Linea to Celo to Gitcoin to Worldcoin. Plus, further Ethereum technical advancements announced recently (Shard Blob Transactions, anyone?) will kick this into high gear. As you can imagine, people have (very valid) thoughts, though a general move towards cheaper transactions and easier-to-use Ethereum (ref Vitalik’s EthCC talk) feels net positive overall.
