Long Live [dot]eth. Crypto partnership announcements are usually boring at best and cringe at worst except if 1) significant - and I mean SIGNIFICANT - scale is involved and 2) it makes something 10X better. ENS domains supported on PayPal and Venmo checks both of these boxes. That said, not cool if PayPal is going to keep indiscriminately freezing accounts. Test it out: head over to Venmo and send .001 ETH to boysclub.eth for this newsletter.

RIP Friend[dot]Tech. If there was a weird, vague rug competition, Friend.tech would take first prize. In an impenetrable tweet posted over the weekend, Friend.tech announced the project’s creators would be removing their ability to change the protocol or collect fees. Translation? This essentially leaves the whole thing kaput, with the founders pocketing a cool $44M from fees the protocol generated in its ~1 year of operation. Folks have some feelings about this.
