$CASH. Finally all of that memecoin trading on Solana is going to pay off. Phantom, the popular Solana-first (but everything now) wallet launched $CASH, a seamless crypto-to-cash credit card that lets you spend your crypto like you spend your cash at any point of sale. This buzzy launch is a win for Stripe, as its recent acquisition of Bridge is behind the issuance of the $CASH stablecoin powering the app. Wins abound for Stripe this week, as they also just launched instant checkout in ChatGPT. The devil works hard but the Stripe comms team works harder.

FYP. OpenAI shipped Sora 2, an invite-only iOS app where every clip is AI-generated and you can insert ~~yourself~~ (or a shoplifting Sam Altman) into 10-second scenes. It lands the same week Meta rolled out “Vibes,” another short-form feed of AI-made videos inside the Meta AI app. Both are primed and ready to torch the minds of boomers and gen-alpha alike. The vibe on the timeline is jittery. Even beyond the concerns of slop content proliferation, investors (and maybe employees) seem spooked that the “slop feed” is getting more attention from AI execs than, say, curing brain cancer or solving famine. It also catapults us cleanly into a post-truth environment for video content, yee-haw.

Quick Hits.
